Job Summary

The ECE Developer/BRM role is essential for the implementation and management of Billing and Revenue Management (BRM) systems within a telecommunications environment. This position will focus on the design, integration, and optimization of BRM architecture, ensuring alignment with business objectives and scalability for future growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of BRM architecture, ensuring it aligns with business objectives and supports future scalability.
• Provide strategic guidance on enhancements to the BRM system, including the adoption of new features and technologies.
• Collaborate with enterprise architects to achieve seamless integration of BRM architecture into the overall enterprise architecture.
• Conduct regular assessments of the BRM system to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
• Establish and enforce architectural principles, standards, and guidelines for consistent and reliable BRM implementations.
• Mentor development teams on BRM best practices and ensure adherence to architectural standards.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience: Minimum of 8 years in the telecom billing domain, with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in BRM.
• Technical Skills:
  • Expertise in BRM architecture and design principles, focusing on scalability, flexibility, reliability, and performance.
  • Proficiency in one or more BRM modules (BRM core, OCOMC, ECE, PDC), with strong emphasis on ECE.
  • Experience integrating ECE with mobile networks using Diameter or similar protocols, including ECE to PCRF integrations.
  • Familiarity with BRM versions, particularly BRM version 12 and at least BRM 7.5.
  • In-depth knowledge of BRM opcodes, data models, and system integrations.
• Soft Skills:
  • Strong leadership and influencing skills to guide cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to articulate complex concepts to diverse stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinking to align BRM architecture with long-term business objectives.
  • Mentorship capabilities to coach development teams on BRM architectural best practices.
