Job Summary

The Cloud Network Admin will be responsible for overseeing the database administration and automation processes, specializing in Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The role involves managing database migrations, ensuring system performance, and maintaining the security of database services, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of business operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage databases, including Oracle, PostgreSQL, and Oracle Database on Google Cloud.
• Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code for provisioning databases on Google Compute Engine (GCE) instances and Oracle Platform as a Service (PaaS).
• Migrate databases from on-premises environments to GCP, ensuring seamless transition and minimal downtime.
• Set up and manage backup and recovery processes using native cloud functionality.
• Optimize database performance and manage capacity effectively.
• Ensure security of database services, including authentication, authorization, and encryption of data.
• Act as a bridge between project and support teams, providing techno-functional expertise and support.
• Implement business processes and requirements on the ERP system, ensuring they are translated effectively into solutions.

Qualifications

• Technical Skills:
  • Expertise in Oracle DBA and database administration.
  • Proficient in cloud-based infrastructure and automation.
  • Experience with GCP and database migration.
  • Knowledge of backup and recovery solutions for cloud databases.
  • Strong proficiency in performance optimization for databases.
  • Familiarity with data security protocols.
• Soft Skills:

• Educational Qualifications:
