Job Summary

We are seeking an Accounts Executive to manage various accounting tasks that are vital for the smooth operation of the finance department. The successful candidate will be pivotal in ensuring accurate financial records and timely payments, contributing to the overall objectives of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Process journal vouchers, and handle bank and cash payments in Tally.
• Book invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
• Conduct daily bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies that arise.
• Follow up with vendors to ensure timely bill payments.
• Maintain a payment tracker for ongoing projects.
• Facilitate online bank transfers (RTGS, NEFT) and ensure their accuracy.
• Review creditors' ledgers and address any discrepancies.
• Prepare foreign remittance documents as needed.
• Coordinate with the project tracker to match project payouts.
• Prepare monthly payout reports and manage the cost center feature in Tally.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Tally software.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles.
• Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and coordination abilities.
• Educational background in Accounting or Finance (B.Com or similar degree preferred).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with financial software applications beyond Tally.
• Knowledge of GST and tax regulations.
• Previous experience in the film or entertainment industry.

Experience

• Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant accounting experience preferred.

Environment

The position is suitable for a hybrid work model, allowing for remote work if needed. The working days are 5.5 days a week, with alternate Saturdays being working days.
