Job Summary

The Senior Staff Engineer will lead the design and deployment of enterprise-scale Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) solutions on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). This role is integral to establishing a robust integration strategy that encompasses on-premise, Software as a Service (SaaS), and third-party applications. The Senior Staff Engineer will also drive the development of automated processes and compliance architectures that ensure high availability and performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and deployment of enterprise-scale OIC solutions on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Architect and implement secure, scalable, and highly available environments on OCI & Alloy.
• Drive integration strategy between on-premise, SaaS, and third-party applications using OIC.
• Establish CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Resource Manager, and automation frameworks.
• Define network and security architectures, encompassing Identity and Access Management (IAM), encryption, and compliance policies.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into end-to-end integration architectures.
• Design and oversee hybrid and multi-cloud strategies leveraging Alloy for data sovereignty and compliance.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and operational frameworks for proactive system health management.
• Provide thought leadership on best practices, performance tuning, and disaster recovery planning.

Qualifications

• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; advanced degrees are preferred.
• Experience: 10+ years in OCI architecture and administration with strong expertise in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Oracle Alloy environment setup.
• Deep expertise in OCI including networking, compute, storage, IAM, monitoring, and security.
• Proven hands-on experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC): adapters, APIs, process automation, and visual builder.
• Experience architecting OCI Alloy environments focusing on governance, compliance, and hybrid connectivity.
• Strong background in integration patterns such as REST, SOAP, messaging, event-driven architectures, and microservices.
• Proficiency in Terraform, Ansible, or OCI Resource Manager for automation.
• Understanding of SaaS integration with ERP, HCM, CX, SCM, and on-premise integration.
• Excellent knowledge of disaster recovery, high availability, and performance tuning on OCI.
• Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively guide teams and engage stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architect Professional Certification.
• Oracle Integration Cloud Specialist Certification.
• Experience in multi-region Alloy deployment and regulated industries including Banking, Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI), Government, and Healthcare.
• Familiarity with DevOps pipelines such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and OCI DevOps.
• Prior experience in leading large-scale Oracle transformation programs.

Experience

• Minimum of 10-12 years of relevant experience in OCI architecture and administration.

Environment

• Work location is flexible, available at any Nagarro location on a hybrid basis.
• Contract period is 6 months, with the possibility of extension based on demand and employee performance.
