Azure DevOps Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Azure DevOps Engineer to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Azure cloud services, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, and containerization. You will play a key role in streamlining our development processes, ensuring smooth deployments, and supporting DevOps best practices across projects.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps Services.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using ARM templates, Terraform, or Bicep.
• Configure and maintain build and release pipelines, integrating tools such as Git, SonarQube, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Implement and manage Azure services such as Azure App Services, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Functions, Azure Storage, and Key Vault.
• Monitor and troubleshoot environments using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
• Collaborate with developers, QA, and other IT staff to oversee code releases and deployments.
• Ensure compliance with security and governance policies.
• Enable Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and adopt DevOps automation tools to improve system reliability and performance.
• Drive best practices in source control, branching strategies, and development workflows.
• Maintain documentation of processes, system configurations, and CI/CD strategies.

Qualifications

• Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: 4+ years of experience in a DevOps or similar role.
• Strong expertise in Azure DevOps.
• Solid knowledge of Azure Cloud Services and architecture.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Experience with IaC tools: ARM Templates, Terraform, Bicep.
• Experience in Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of Git and version control best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills

• Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert or equivalent certification.
• Experience with hybrid cloud environments.
• Familiarity with other CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
