Senior Associate DevOps
Job Summary
The Senior Associate DevOps role is responsible for designing, maintaining, and optimizing continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to automate code testing and deployment. This position focuses on cloud resource optimization, infrastructure as code (IaC) management, and implementing cost-effective solutions. The role requires collaboration across teams to ensure smooth workflows, quick issue resolution, and secure, automated processes that support the software development lifecycle. The candidate will contribute to infrastructure services, risk management, and continuous improvement initiatives within an Agile environment.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate code testing and deployment.
- Track software performance, troubleshoot errors, and implement preventive measures to ensure smooth workflows.
- Optimize cloud resources and implement cost-effective infrastructure solutions.
- Manage infrastructure using code with tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation for IaC.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and deploy new features efficiently.
- Monitor system performance and develop new processes based on analysis.
- Automate repetitive tasks to improve team efficiency.
- Implement security best practices, including automated compliance checks and secure code deployment.
- Develop and maintain system documentation, including configuration guides and standard operating procedures.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
- Assess service demand and plan for future capacity needs.
- Follow corporate standards, change management processes, and ITIL procedures.
- Escalate incidents internally or to third-party partners as required.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Expertise in automating code testing and deployment.
- Proficient in optimizing cloud resources and implementing cost-effective solutions.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Familiarity with IAAS (Server, OS, Storage, Backup, Virtualization), CAAS (Containers, Middleware, SharePoint), and PAAS (Databases, Data Analytics).
- Skilled in infrastructure services including micro-segmentation, load balancing, API gateway, and automation.
- Understanding of risk management, security, obsolescence, continuous improvement, and ITIL processes.
- Proficient in Agile methodologies such as SCRUM and KANBAN.
- Programming and scripting skills in Python, Spark, PYSpark, Shell, Bash, PowerShell, and SQL.
- Experience with web services including HTTP/REST and SOAP.
- Version control system knowledge: Git, SVN, and other DevOps tools.
- Familiarity with tools like Apache NIFI, Apache Airflow, and Jupyter.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient in English.
Preferred Skills
- Microsoft Certification is a plus.
- Experience with FinOps methodology.
- Ability to lead meetings, seminars, training sessions, and change management.
- Strong analytical capacity and ability to define relevant performance indicators.

- Ability to share and transmit knowledge effectively.

Experience
- 5 to 7 years of experience as a System Administrator Level 3 or equivalent role.
- Proven experience in DevOps practices, cloud infrastructure management, and automation.
Environment
- Work location: Bangalore, India (Client office).
- Work mode: Hybrid.
- Shift timings: Rotational 24x7 shifts.
- Work type: Full-time.
- Immediate joining or within 15 days notice period.
Salary
- Compensation range: ₹13.5 LPA to ₹14.5 LPA (Indian Rupees).
