SAP ABAP Developer

Job Summary

As an SAP ABAP Developer, your primary responsibility is to design, develop, and maintain multiple SAP systems. You will work from home, shifting your hours to UK timezone, from 3 PM to 11 PM.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, configure, and maintain SAP modules, objects, and workflows, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Create reports, enhancements, conversions, Smart Forms, BDCs, LSMWs, User Exits, Data Dictionary, RFCs, Object-Oriented ABAP, ALE, iDocs, Workflows, BAPIs, and BADIs as per project requirements.
  • Develop Fiori apps using Free Style or RAP (Restful Application Programming) and OData services.
  • Design and implement Core Data Services (CDS) views, Fiori Apps leveraging SAP Business Application Studio (BAS).
  • Proficiently work with one or more core SAP modules such as SD, MM, PP, FI, and CO, and possess an understanding of related business processes.
  • Review functional specifications and maintain comprehensive documentation, including technical specifications.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in SAP ABAP development, specifically with SAP BRIM.
  • Experience working with new SAP modules such as MDG, ME, EWM, or TM is considered a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a thorough understanding of SAP data dictionary objects.
  • Knowledge of Adobe forms, OData, and Enhancement Framework (a plus).
  • Experience developing in S/4HANA is a plus.
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with additional SAP modules and technologies beyond the primary requirements.
  • Proficiency in Agile development methodologies is a plus.

Experience

  • Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in SAP ABAP development, specifically with SAP BRIM.
