Job Summary

The Test Developer will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software products through the design, implementation, and execution of test cases. This position is integral to the development lifecycle, contributing to the delivery of high-quality software that meets user needs and business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement test strategies for software applications to ensure they meet specified requirements.
• Develop and execute automated test scripts to validate functionality, performance, and security of applications.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand project requirements and provide feedback.
• Identify, document, and track defects found during testing and ensure they are resolved.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
• Generate test reports and metrics to communicate testing progress and outcomes to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Proficient in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
• Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
• Knowledge of API testing and tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI).
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello).
• Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes.

Experience

• 2-5 years of experience in software testing or a related field.
