Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Java Lead / Architect to design, lead, and deliver enterprise-grade applications. The ideal candidate will combine hands-on Java development expertise with architectural design skills, while mentoring teams and driving technical excellence. You will collaborate with stakeholders, product owners, and cross-functional teams to translate business needs into scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of large-scale, distributed, and high-performance applications.
• Define architecture blueprints, coding standards, and best practices for the engineering team.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership in Core Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and solution architects to gather requirements and define technical roadmaps.
• Ensure cloud-native architectures (AWS/Azure/GCP) are aligned with scalability, security, and compliance standards.
• Drive DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and monitoring solutions.
• Perform code reviews, performance tuning, and optimization of applications.
• Mentor junior and mid-level developers, fostering a culture of learning and technical excellence.
• Evaluate and recommend new frameworks, tools, and technologies for adoption.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Java / J2EE development, with expertise in Java 8/11/17.
• Strong expertise in Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, Spring Security).
• Hands-on experience with Microservices architecture and REST API design.
• Proficiency with Cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP) and related services.
• Experience with DevOps tools (Jenkins, Git, Maven, Gradle) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong background in database systems (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB).
• Solid understanding of design patterns, system architecture, and enterprise integration.
• Knowledge of security principles (OAuth2, JWT, API Gateway).
• Excellent communication, leadership, and mentoring skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other messaging systems.
• Exposure to big data or streaming technologies.
• Familiarity with front-end frameworks (Angular, React) for full-stack leadership.
• Certifications in Java, Cloud, or Architecture (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, Oracle Certified Java Architect).
