iOS Developer – Contractual Position

Job Summary

We are seeking an iOS Developer to join our team on a contractual basis. The developer will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining innovative iOS applications that are content and commerce-based. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams, developing new features for our platform and contributing to the overall direction of our mobile products.

Responsibilities

• Design and build advanced applications for the iOS platform.
• Specify, develop, and debug mobile applications.
• Collaborate closely with the back-end development team and UX design team to implement mobile product requirements.
• Create reusable libraries and mobile application frameworks while evaluating and researching the latest technologies.
• Advise management on the pros and cons of implementing specific mobile platforms.
• Play an important role in directing our mobile products and bringing innovative ideas to fruition.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in mobile app development.
• Deep familiarity with iOS development using Swift.
• Excellent object-oriented analysis and design skills (OOA/OOD).
• Experience working in an agile methodology.
• Understanding of user experience and usability aspects.
• Strong knowledge of Swift fundamentals and SwiftUI.
• Familiar with iOS architectures and testing.
• Understanding of programming practices like clean code and SOLID principles.
• Knowledge of unit testing for Swift and SwiftUI.

Preferred Skills

• Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.

Experience

• A minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience is required, specifically in mobile app development, preferably within a Bangalore-based environment.
