Job Description
Key Responsibilities:<br /> • Execute a strong business development plan for school shoe business in the territory<br /> • Manage distributors & channel partners in the territory and build strong working relationships<br /> • Drive sales plan to achieve set targets for the territory<br /> • Foster alliances and partnerships with large school groups to build annuity business<br /> • Explore & Identify unconventional partnerships to expand the reach – uniform vendors, channel<br /> partners etc<br /> • Identify, appoint & manage multi-brand retailers for Plaeto school shoes. Establish preference for<br /> Plaeto brand in these stores<br /> • Work with cross functional teams to implement demand generation programs<br /> • Ensure on-time collections from distributors, channel partners and trade<br /> • Drive & coordinate smooth operational execution with distributors/channel in fulfilment process<br /> • Track KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and report on regular cadence<br /> • Reflect the qualities & values of Plaeto in every aspect of work. Be the face of the brand in territory<br /> Pre-requisites:<br /> • Good understanding of & sales experience in Education/related sectors<br /> • Should demonstrate bias for action and quality of execution in defined timelines<br /> • Good written and oral communication skills<br /> • Account/Relationship management skills. Analytical & planning ability<br /> • Ability to leverage partners’ strengths and resources to drive operational efficiencies<br /> • Adept with productivity, presentation & automation tools<br /> • Willingness to engage and learn through cross functional engagement & collaborative approach<br /> Experience & Qualification:<br /> • 5+ years’ experience in Institutional sales, Account Management, preferably in Education<br /> sector. Retail operations experience helps, but not mandated<br /> • Graduate / MBA degree
