Application Lead

Job Summary

As an Application Lead, you will spearhead the effort to design, build, and configure applications while acting as the primary point of contact for application-related matters. In this role, you will manage the development process, provide innovative solutions to problems, and lead cross-team collaborations to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) on application development and configuration.
• Lead the design, build, and configuration efforts of applications.
• Act as the primary point of contact for all application-related matters.
• Manage team decisions and engage with multiple teams to contribute to key strategic decisions.
• Oversee the entire application development process to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
• Provide effective solutions to challenges faced by both your immediate team and other collaborating teams.

Qualifications

• Technical Expertise: Proficiency in SAP for Retail.
• Project Experience: Minimum of 7.5 years of experience in application development and configuration.
• Advanced Skills: Must have advanced Available to Promise experience, including expertise in developing and maintaining back order processing strategies.
• Process Management: Proven ability to manage and prioritize back orders to optimize fulfillment and customer satisfaction, including conducting real-time availability checks across multiple supply chain nodes.
• Tool Utilization: Experienced in using SAP tools to reschedule and prioritize back orders based on predefined rules and criteria.
• Educational Requirement: 15 years of full-time education.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with SAP for Retail Store Operations.
• Strong understanding of statistical analysis and machine learning algorithms.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Hands-on experience with implementing various machine learning algorithms (e.g., linear regression, logistic regression, decision trees, clustering).
• Solid grasp of data munging techniques, including data cleaning, transformation, and normalization to ensure data quality and integrity.

Experience

• A minimum of 7.5 years of relevant experience in application design, development, or a similar technical leadership role is required.
• Demonstrated experience in managing teams and collaborating with multiple stakeholders in a dynamic project environment.
