Job Summary

The SAP APO Consultant will play a key role in providing expert support for SAP Advanced Planner and Optimizer (APO) modules, specifically focusing on Demand Planning (DP). This role will contribute to successful implementations and ensure the effective integration of APO with SAP ECC to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert support in SAP APO modules, emphasizing Demand Planning (DP) and possessing knowledge of Supply Network Planning (SNP) and Production Planning/Detailed Scheduling (PP/DS).
• Lead and contribute to at least two full-cycle APO implementations, ensuring seamless integration with SAP ECC systems.
• Configure and manage Planning Areas, Planning Books/Versions, Key Figures, Characteristics, and macros.
• Customize data view layouts, set up and execute realignment processes, and maintain planning accuracy.
• Design, monitor, troubleshoot, and debug process chains across all APO modules.
• Analyze and interpret custom logic within the supply chain framework to support business requirements.
• Utilize strong analytical skills to identify issues, determine root causes, and recommend effective solutions.
• Communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders, demonstrating strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with SAP APO modules, particularly Demand Planning (DP).
• Strong understanding of Supply Network Planning (SNP) and Production Planning/Detailed Scheduling (PP/DS).
• Ability to configure Planning Areas and manage Key Figures and Characteristics.
• Proficient in analyzing supply chain frameworks and applying effective problem-solving techniques.
• Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications in SAP APO or related modules are preferred.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Experience
