Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and motivated SAP BASIS Consultant with 3+ years of hands-on experience in SAP system administration. The ideal candidate should have solid experience in BASIS tasks such as system installation, configuration, upgrades, user management, and troubleshooting across various SAP landscapes. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth operation and optimization of SAP systems within our manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily SAP BASIS administration tasks including monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Install, configure, and upgrade SAP systems such as ECC, S/4HANA, BW, and PI.
• Manage transports and perform client copies and system refreshes.
• Configure and manage SAP Solution Manager and monitor EarlyWatch Alerts.
• Conduct user and role administration in SAP systems using tools like SU01 and PFCG.
• Monitor system performance, perform kernel upgrades, and manage patching.
• Administer databases (HANA/Oracle/SQL), including backups and recovery in collaboration with Database Administrators (DBAs).
• Work closely with functional teams, developers, and infrastructure teams to support SAP environments.
• Assist with system integration and connectivity tasks such as RFCs, ALE, and IDocs.
• Support audits, implement security recommendations, and maintain compliance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of SAP BASIS experience in administration and operations.
• Experience with the installation and configuration of SAP NetWeaver systems.
• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA or SAP HANA database administration is a plus.
• Good understanding of SAP authorization concepts and user management.
• Familiarity with SAP transport management system (STMS).
• Knowledge of backup/restore strategies and monitoring tools (e.g., CCMS, SolMan).
• Experience working in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) is advantageous.
• Basic understanding of Operating Systems (Linux/Windows) and network concepts.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field is preferred.
• SAP BASIS certification is optional but preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to SAP Cloud Platform, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), or SAP Fiori launchpad administration.

Experience

• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in SAP BASIS administration.

Environment

• This position is onsite located in Andheri, Mumbai within a manufacturing setting focused on the fabric industry.

Salary

• Estimated CTC of 11 LPA.
