Job Summary

The AutoCAD Drafter will create detailed technical drawings from scratch and ensure high-quality and accurate as-built documentation by incorporating design mark-ups provided by planners and designers. This role is critical in maintaining our organization’s standards through the digitization and formatting of CAD drawings.

Responsibilities

• Create comprehensive drawings from scratch using AutoCAD.
• Incorporate drawing mark-ups from planners and designers to generate precise as-built drawings.
• Ensure the digitization of CAD drawings meets organizational standards and formatting requirements.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records of all drawings and revisions.
• Collaborate with project managers and team members to ensure clarity of design specifications.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years of experience in drafting using AutoCAD 2014 or later.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD software and a strong understanding of its functionalities.
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality.
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
• Ability to efficiently incorporate feedback and modifications to drawings.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively.
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with additional CAD software or design tools is a plus.
• Knowledge of construction industry standards and practices.

Experience
