Job Purpose

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing all warehouse operations, ensuring efficient inventory management, order fulfillment, shipping/receiving, and compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate stock levels and prevent discrepancies
- Conduct regular cycle counts and stock audits
- Implement effective inventory control systems

Order Fulfillment & Dispatch
- Ensure timely picking, packing, and shipping of orders
- Coordinate dispatch schedules with logistics partners
- Monitor and reduce order errors

Warehouse Operations Management
- Oversee daily warehouse functions (receiving, storage, replenishment)
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization of warehouse space
- Ensure optimal utilization of storage capacity

Team Leadership
- Supervise and train warehouse staff
- Assign tasks and monitor performance
- Ensure adherence to company policies and discipline

Safety & Compliance
- Enforce health, safety, and hygiene regulations
- Ensure compliance with audit and legal standards
- Maintain records of incidents and implement corrective measures

Technology and Process Improvement
- Leverage WMS/ERP, EasyCom systems for operations
- Identify areas for cost reduction and process efficiency
- Recommend and implement warehouse automation tools where feasible

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Inventory Accuracy Rate
- Order Fulfilment Accuracy
- On-Time Shipment Rate
- Warehouse Space Utilization
- Order Cycle Time (< 24 hrs. for standard orders)
- Stock Turnover Ratio (industry-dependent)
- Incident Rate (target = 0 safety violations or accidents)
- Cost per Order Processed (should decrease over time)
- Staff Productivity (orders/hour/employee)

Requirements:
- Proven experience in warehouse operations and management
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Knowledge of WMS, ERP, and automation tools
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
