Job Summary:
We are seeking an ambitious and results-driven Business Development Manager to identify new business opportunities, foster strong relationships with clients, and develop strategies to enhance our market position. The ideal candidate will have experience in sales, business growth, and customer relationship management within the furniture or hardware industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work on account-based sales strategies to increase share within target companies.
- Ensure maximum portfolio utilization across OEM partners.
- Lead business development efforts in the assigned regions.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities to expand the customer base.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, interior designers, dealers, and distributors.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and potential areas for business growth.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create campaigns that enhance brand visibility and drive sales.
- Manage the sales pipeline, track performance metrics, and provide regular reports to senior management.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
- Stay updated on industry trends and innovations to maintain competitive edge in terms of product & pricing.
- Work closely with product development teams to align offerings with market demand.
- Attend industry trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events to promote the products and services.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management in the furniture or hardware industry.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to build professional relationships.
- Ability to analyze market trends and develop actionable business strategies.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
