Experience: 2–3 years post-qualification Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) Reporting To: Finance Controller / Head of Finance Employment Type: Full-time About the Role: We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Junior Finance Controller to join our finance team. The ideal candidate is a qualified Chartered Accountant with 2 3 years of post-qualification experience, backed by a solid articleship foundation in audit, tax, or finance. This role will involve end-to-end finance responsibilities, financial reporting, budgeting, compliance, and supporting internal controls. Key Responsibilities:  Financial Reporting: o Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards. o Assist in monthly/ quarterly & adhoc investor reporting. o Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing activities.  Budgeting and Forecasting: o Support the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis. o Analyze financial trends and performance metrics to provide actionable insights.  Controllership & Compliance: o Ensure accounting accuracy and statutory compliance (GST, TDS, Income Tax, Companies Act, etc.). o Assist with internal and statutory audits and coordinate with auditors.  Internal Controls: o Help design and monitor internal control systems and processes. o Maintain accurate documentation and support implementation of best practices.  Cross-functional Collaboration: o Work closely with business, legal, tax, and operational teams to ensure alignment and transparency in financial matters. o Assist with ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as required by management. Requirements:  Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 2–3 years of post-qualification experience.  Strong articleship background with exposure to finance, audit, or taxation in a mid or large-sized firm.  Good understanding of Indian accounting standards, taxation, and compliance frameworks.  Proficiency in Excel and accounting software like Tally/ Zoho/ Quick Books.  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.  Excellent verbal and written communication skills.  Self-starter, team player, and able to manage multiple priorities. Preferred (but not mandatory):  Experience in a start-up or SAAS environment.  Exposure to automation or process improvement in finance functions.
