Job Description
Role preamble: To help make me more effective and unlock time/bandwidth for priorities that need my direct attention. The role will span the following areas:
Professional
Calendar management
Travel management
All expenses
All insurance claims
Loyalty programs and points management
Capital calls
Document signature coordination
Miscellaneous (gifts, etc)
Personal
Travel management
Personal finance (bank accounts, investment accounts and taxes)
Real estate (land, apartment)
Managing home staff including driver
Bill payments
Personal items to be fixed/serviced (car, etc)
Donations
Key Responsibilities
Travel planning (flights, stays, cars, etc.)
Event planning
Gift planning / thank you notes
Taking over most tasks (except where my involvement is essential)
Has access to the leader’s email inbox and manages it for them
Can write in their executive’s voice
Help create templates/frameworks for specific needs especially transactional (i.e. enquiry on recruiting, deals, IT, etc.)
Advanced calendaring skills
Follow up on key priorities and drive project management of selected tasks
Responding to certain emails/messages/tasks - as per a pre-decided framework
Participating in certain meetings with me and/or without me
Tech savvy; can create high quality documents, spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations
Attributes
Having a “service heart” beating inside to work creatively and to go above and beyond every day in support of their leaders
Hunger quotient/Drive quotient (DQ)
High EQ - Can read what’s on people’s mind/anticipate; Humility / value system alignment and culture fit with me and Kedaara; Influencing and stakeholder management
IQ (clears threshold, don’t need a rocket scientist)
Communication sills - written and oral
Result orientation
Self starter; Proactive and able to take initiative
Highly organized
Creative problem-solver – taking great pride in saving the day
Can find any piece of info in five minutes or less, no matter where they are
Have an attitude of doing whatever it takes to get a job done
Cool in a crisis
Discreet, trustworthy, and ethical
Resourceful / has a great network of experts
Experience / background
Minimum 4-5 years experience (educational qualifications no bar)
Age - Late 20s/Early 30s
Either of the following service industry experience
Cabin crew/supervisor (Emirates, Singapore, Qatar, Jet, Vistara, etc.)
Hospitality (Oberoi, Leela, Taj, etc)
Experienced EAs
Middle class upbringing, small town background and values (substance over form)
Ambitious, top quartile performer
