Job Summary
As the Lead Robotics Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing robotic software for our AI robots. You will design and implement manipulation and control algorithms, motion planning systems, and navigation systems, leading the development of robust and scalable solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop robust general-purpose robotic manipulation modules.
- Implement advanced algorithms in the Robot Operating System (ROS), including real-time control and manipulation.
- Design behavior trees and decision-making frameworks.
- Integrate perception and control systems for autonomous robot operations.
- Build and maintain simulation environments for system validation.
- Lead the development of advanced algorithms for robot navigation and control.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable robotics solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's (MS or PhD) in Robotics, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), or a related field.
- 5-10 years of experience in robotics, manipulator systems, control systems, localization, mapping, and navigation.
- Expertise in motion planning algorithms for 6 Degrees of Freedom (6DOF) manipulators.
- Proficiency in creating ROS2 drivers, with expertise in MoveIt2 for manipulation and Nav2 for navigation tasks.
- Skilled in using simulation environments like Isaac Sim for realistic scenario testing and development.
- Excellent programming skills in Python and C++, with familiarity in ROS2.
- Ability to lead and thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with advanced robotics software development.
- Familiarity with machine learning techniques applied to robotics.
- Knowledge of software development best practices and agile methodologies.
Experience
- 5-10 years of relevant experience in the robotics field.

Salary
- Compensation ranges from ₹40-60 Lakhs per annum (LPA), including ₹10-20 Lakhs in Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOPs).
