Lal Sweets is a fast-growing Indian food and sweets business with an expanding omnichannel presence across General Trade, Modern Trade, E-commerce and Quick Commerce. The company is backed by institutional capital and is entering its next phase of scale.

Role

We are looking for a Deputy CEO who can transition into the CEO role, working closely with the current CEO to drive the next phase of growth.

The role will own the broader business agenda across growth, sales, channels, P&L, product and operations, with a mandate to help scale the business significantly.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive growth across GT, MT, E-commerce, Quick Commerce and Institutional channels.

• Own business performance, including revenue, margins, P&L and channel economics.

• Build national distribution and identify new growth opportunities.

• Work closely with product, manufacturing and supply chain teams, particularly around short-shelf-life products.

• Build a data-driven operating rhythm and strengthen the organisation for scale.

• Partner closely with the CEO, promoters and investors on strategic priorities.

Ideal Profile

• 10–18 years of experience in Food/FMCG/Consumer businesses.

• Strong GT + MT experience; E-commerce/Q-commerce exposure preferred.

• Proven P&L/business ownership and track record of scaling a business.

• Understanding of food manufacturing, supply chain and short-shelf-life categories preferred.

• Entrepreneurial, analytical and highly execution-oriented.

• Strong stakeholder management and ability to operate closely with senior leadership.
