Job Summary

The Project Manager is overall responsible for the planning, coordination, monitoring, and successful delivery of projects within approved timelines, quality standards, safety requirements, and budget, while coordinating with consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop the project plan by incorporating requirements, design considerations, and project expectations.
• Define the resource plan, including the manpower plan, considering mobilization and de-mobilization phases of the project.
• Ensure project execution according to the project plan and design drawings while maintaining documentation control and record keeping.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and serve as a role model for safety at the project site.
• Review quality of work completed across all trades to ensure adherence to project standards.
• Manage and approve local purchases, ensuring timely availability of resources for site execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in project management within the construction or engineering industries.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze data and make sound decisions based on available information.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in project management software and ERP systems.

Preferred Skills

• Certification in Project Management (e.g. PMP or equivalent).
• Experience with quality control and assurance methodologies.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations applicable to construction projects.
• Knowledge of resource management and local purchasing processes.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in managing construction projects.

Environment

• Full-time position with standard working hours from 09:00 AM to 06:00 PM.
• Work may be conducted on-site at project locations.
