Job Summary

The Director of Data and Analytics Product for Global Functions will play a pivotal role in understanding the needs and data requirements of customer groups and users. This position is responsible for managing key business relationships within the AI/ML portfolio, ensuring successful delivery of data products, and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning within the team.

Responsibilities

• Understand the needs, business processes, and data requirements of customer groups and users, managing key business relationships for the AI/ML portfolio.
• Manage a portfolio of data products, identifying synergies and dependencies to ensure successful delivery.
• Combine business understanding with knowledge of established and emerging AI/ML capabilities to identify and cultivate use cases from ideas into potential Data & Analytics (D&A) products.
• Build and manage a team of AI/ML professionals, including data scientists, machine learning engineers, and researchers, ensuring they have clear objectives and necessary resources.
• Oversee the development and implementation of AI/ML projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget and achieving desired outcomes.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the AI/ML team, including mentoring and career growth opportunities.
• Encourage innovation and experimentation within the team to explore new AI/ML techniques and applications.
• Ensure AI/ML practices adhere to ethical standards and comply with relevant laws and regulations, particularly regarding data privacy and security.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as GP&T, product management, and business units, to integrate AI/ML solutions into the broader business strategy.
• Stay updated on the latest developments in AI/ML technology and research to maintain a competitive edge and apply cutting-edge methods to solve business problems.
• Engage with internal partners to understand business processes, develop hypotheses, and translate requirements into an analytic approach.
• Work with business leaders to identify critical business problems that could be solved using Generative AI and leverage the latest Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Use experimentation, user demos, and rapid feedback to iteratively refine the D&A Product Roadmap and backlog throughout the product lifecycle.
• Confirm that delivery from the development team meets business requirements and creates expected value in line with business KPIs.
• Coach and guide wider Data, Analytics, and AI teams, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in managing AI/ML product portfolios and teams.
• Strong understanding of data analytics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence technologies.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a strategic mindset.
• Familiarity with data privacy laws and ethical standards in AI/ML.
• Educational qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degrees (Master's or PhD) preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Knowledge of agile methodologies and product management frameworks.
• Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms and tools.

Experience

• Minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience in data analytics, AI/ML, or related fields, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

Salary

• Estimated salary range: ₹14,000,000.
