Job Summary:<br />
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Cost Control Executive to join our</div>
<div>dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring cost-<br />
effectiveness and accuracy in all procurement activities. This role involves close</div>
<div>coordination with the procurement team and requires strong analytical and<br />
communication skills.<br />
Key Responsibilities:<br />
• Purchase Order Review:<br />
o Carefully review all Purchase Orders (POs) before they are sent to vendors,<br />
ensuring accuracy of pricing, quantities, terms and conditions.<br />
o Conduct thorough checks on all PO details, including item descriptions,<br />
specifications, and delivery dates.<br />
• Cost Comparison & Validation:<br />
o Analyze and validate cost comparisons for different suppliers and materials.<br />
o Identify potential cost-saving opportunities and recommend strategies for<br />
cost reduction.<br />
• Tax Invoice Verification:<br />
o Review and verify all tax invoices received from vendors for accuracy and<br />
compliance with applicable tax laws.</div>
<div>• Payment Documentation:<br />
o Check all supporting documents required for vendor payments, including<br />
invoices, delivery notes, and other relevant documentation.<br />
o Identify and follow up on any missing or incomplete documents with relevant<br />
stakeholders (e.g., vendors, logistics team).</div>
<div>• Data Analysis & Reporting:<br />
o Track and analyze procurement costs and identify any cost variances.<br />
o Prepare regular reports on procurement spending and cost trends.<br />
• Process Improvement:</div>
<div>o Identify and implement process improvements to enhance procurement<br />
efficiency and cost-effectiveness.</div>
<div>• Vendor Communication:<br />
o Communicate effectively with vendors to resolve any discrepancies related<br />
to pricing, invoicing, or payments.</div>
<div>Qualifications:<br />
• Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, or a related field.<br />
• 5-8 years of experience in a cost control, finance, or procurement role.<br />
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.<br />
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.<br />
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.) and other<br />
relevant software.<br />
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.<br />
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.<br />
Additional Requirements:<br />
• ERP System Experience: Familiarity with ERP systems used in procurement and<br />
finance is a strong plus.<br />
• Knowledge of GST: In-depth understanding of GST laws and regulations.<br />
• Experience in the battery or related industry: Preferred, but not mandatory.</div>
