UFT AUTOMATION TESTING

The UFT AUTOMATION TESTING will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated testing scripts and conducting functional testing of SAP modules and other enterprise applications. This role will enhance the quality of the products delivered by ensuring thorough testing according to specified business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain UFT automation scripts for SAP and other enterprise applications.
• Perform functional testing of SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD, FI, HR) based on business requirements.
• Collaborate with business analysts and developers to understand requirements and translate them into test cases.
• Execute manual and automated test cases, log defects, and track them to closure.
• Participate in test planning, test execution, and defect triage meetings.
• Ensure test coverage and traceability for all functional requirements.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to support end-to-end testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Maintain test documentation and contribute to test process improvements.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in UFT/QTP automation scripting and framework development.
• Good understanding of SAP Applications and hands-on experience in SAP GUI testing.
• Proficiency in VBScript for UFT scripting.
• Experience with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM)/Quality Center or similar test management tools.
• Solid knowledge of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and defect management.
• Ability to analyze business requirements and create detailed test scenarios and cases.
• Relevant educational qualifications in computer science or related fields.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with additional automation testing tools and methodologies.
• Knowledge of Agile testing practices.
• Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB).

Experience

• Proven experience in software testing, particularly with automation and SAP, though the specific years of experience required are not specified.
