Job Summary

As a Manual Tester, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring our software products are robust, reliable, and high-quality. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to identify defects early and contribute to seamless releases.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on requirements and user stories (aligned with templates like those recommended by LinkedIn).
• Perform functional, regression, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and exploratory testing to uncover critical issues.
• Conduct API testing using Postman to validate integrations and endpoints.
• Log, track, and manage defects using Jira (bug tracking tools) and actively follow up on resolutions.
• Participate in defect triage meetings, collaborating with developers, business analysts, and product owners to diagnose and address issues effectively.
• Provide detailed feedback on usability, performance, and user experience to support continuous improvement.
• Assist with test documentation, including test reports, bug reproduction steps, and summary analysis.

Qualifications

• 6 years of hands-on experience in manual software testing.
• Proficiency with Postman for API testing.
• Solid experience using Jira for defect tracking and test case management.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
