Job Summary

The .Net Backend Developer plays a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and resilient systems that support the organization's goals and objectives. This remote position requires a solid understanding of the .NET framework, as well as experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems, to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend systems using the .NET framework and related technologies.
• Implement event-driven architectures to create scalable and resilient applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Conduct software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, ensuring adherence to Agile and Test-driven development principles.
• Write efficient and reusable code, including stored procedures and database queries using Transact SQL.
• Debug and troubleshoot applications, monitor performance, and support data visualization and analytics efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented design and the .NET framework.
• Proficient in C# and SQL Server, with a solid understanding of essential technologies.
• Extensive experience with .NET Core 3.1 and above, experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, particularly Agile and Test-driven development.
• Experience with debugging, logging, and performance monitoring.
• Knowledge of relational database technologies and programming experience using Transact SQL.
• Understanding of information systems and business processes, with the capability to support business goals.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with database performance tuning and replication.
• Strong knowledge of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) and data management tools.
• Experience with stream processing engines such as Kafka and Spark.
• Knowledge of SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) is a plus.
• Experience working in cloud environments such as AWS or Azure.
