Job Summary

The Operations Head will serve as the operating leader of Creme Castle, responsible for overseeing operations, supply chain, expansion, and regional management. This role is pivotal in building scalable systems across multiple formats and cities, ensuring the company's rapid growth into a national brand. The individual will partner closely with the founder, leading a team to execute expansion strategies, optimize processes, and maintain high standards of quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-city expansion, including site selection, setup, and ramp-up of new central kitchens and dark stores across regions.
• Oversee supply chain management, factory operations, and facilities to ensure smooth, efficient, and cost-effective production of perishable bakery and dessert products.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs), review cadences, and establish performance metrics for a multi-unit operation.
• Manage regional P&L for the North and South markets, including delivery, profitability, and growth targets.
• Build and lead regional teams including production, area managers, procurement, and local hiring.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality, food safety, and operational excellence across all kitchens and stores.

Qualifications

• 7 to 12+ years of experience in scaling food or food-retail businesses across multiple cities and kitchens.
• Proven track record in multi-city, multi-kitchen expansion and perishable product management.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to build, motivate, and lift teams.
• Deep understanding of operations, supply chain, and facilities management in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in region-specific management, especially in North and South India.
• Familiarity with perishable food logistics, cost control, and operational metrics.
• Hands-on experience with setting up and scaling dark stores, central kitchens, and retail outlets.
• Educational background in business, operations, or related fields.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with bakery, dessert, or F&B retail chains.
• Knowledge of FSSAI and HACCP standards.
• Strong emotional intelligence and stakeholder management.
• Ability to partner with founders and operate in a fast-growth startup environment.
• Regional familiarity with Delhi-NCR, Jaipur, Chandigarh, Meerut, and South Indian markets.
• Fluency in regional languages is a plus.

Experience

• 7 to 12+ years of relevant experience in food retail, cloud kitchens, or QSR chains.
