<div>The Vice President of Sourcing, Knitwear will be responsible for overseeing the entire sourcing process for our company&#39;s knitwear product lines. This includes developing and implementing sourcing strategies to optimize quality, cost, and delivery time, as well as identifying and building relationships with suppliers who can provide high-quality materials and services.</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>As the VP of Sourcing Wovens, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of sourcing professionals. Your team may include sourcing managers, coordinators, and analysts, who will work together to source and purchase materials for the company&#39;s Wovens product lines. Your team will collaborate with other departments, such as design, production, and quality control, to ensure that the products meet the company&#39;s quality standards and are delivered on time and within budget.</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>Key Responsibilities ● Develop and implement sourcing strategies to optimize quality, cost, and delivery time for our knitwear product lines ● Identify and build relationships with suppliers who can provide high-quality materials and services for our knitwear products ● Negotiate contracts and prices with suppliers to ensure the best value for the company ● Manage budgets and forecast product demand to ensure that the company has the necessary materials to meet production needs ● Ensure compliance with ethical and sustainable sourcing practices in all aspects of the sourcing process ● Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, production, and quality control, to ensure that product specifications are met and that the products meet the company&#39;s quality standards ● Analyze key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of the sourcing team&#39;s efforts ● Manage and mentor the sourcing team, including sourcing managers, coordinators, and analysts&nbsp;Develop and implement sourcing strategies for our Wovens category ● Build and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure quality, cost, and delivery targets are met ● Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers ● Identify and assess potential new suppliers to expand our product offerings ● Lead and mentor a team of sourcing professionals to ensure operational excellence and continuous improvement ● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and efficiency in the sourcing process ● Monitor and manage supplier performance to ensure compliance with our standards and values ● Ensure ethical sourcing practices and sustainability are at the forefront of our sourcing efforts ● Analyze and report on key sourcing metrics to identify areas of improvement and drive decision-making</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>Qualifications ● Bachelor&#39;s degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field; Master&#39;s degree preferred ● At least 10 years of experience in sourcing and procurement, with at least 5 years of experience in knitwear sourcing ● Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers ● Experience managing budgets and forecasting product demand ● Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage and mentor a team ● A commitment to ethical and sustainable business practices ● Excellent analytical skills and the ability to analyze data to drive decision-making ● Familiarity with industry-specific software and tools, including SAP and PLM systems, is preferred&nbsp;Bachelor&#39;s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field; Master&#39;s degree preferred ● At least 10 years of experience in sourcing and supply chain management, with a focus on Wovens ● Experience in leading and mentoring teams ● Excellent negotiation and communication skills ● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills ● Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment ● Demonstrated ability to drive results and manage complex projects ● Understanding of ethical sourcing practices and sustainability ● Knowledge of apparel manufacturing processes and technologies</div>
