Job Description
<div>Perfora is a<br />
We are looking for a Regional Sales Head - Offline Retail to build our offline sales and<br />
distribution channels from the ground up. Someone with 6-10 years of experience in scaling<br />
up offline operations for personal care/non-food D2C startups is preferred.<br />
Responsibilities:</div>
<div>● Works with the management to craft the offline retail strategy, business<br />
priorities and ensures there are systems in place to enable the offline partners<br />
to receive the information in a timely manner.<br />
● Set up channel partners like distributors, super stockists, etc. and<br />
continuously engage with them to grow the business.<br />
● Leveraging existing professional network to open Regional and National retail<br />
chain stores like Dmart, Spencers, Spar etc.<br />
● Generates ideas about future retail activities to ensure a cutting edge<br />
strategy; maintains up to date knowledge of the competitors and product<br />
trends.<br />
● Creates the offline retail component of the annual budget process ensuring<br />
understanding and buy-in from the management.<br />
● Collaboration with Marketing team and VM for In-store marketing/promotions<br />
and for external ATL/BTL activities.<br />
● Ensures all new store proposals meet the required return on investment on<br />
sales prior to submitting any recommendations to the management.<br />
● Can take decisions on matters relating to the day to day retail operation within<br />
their defined work area including the strategic planning of resources.<br />
● Ensures payments are received within the stipulated credit period offered to<br />
the channel partners.<br />
● Takes a lead role in building a strong team of sales officer, sales promoters,<br />
etc. and spend time coaching the sales team, identifying skills and<br />
opportunities for development.<br />
● Proactively manages and reviews the performance and progress of the sales<br />
team, sets objectives and targets.</div>
<div>Requirements:</div>
<div>● 6-10 years of experience building offline retail for a personal care brand,<br />
personal care/ non-food startup.<br />
● Strong willingness to undertake the journey of setting up offline retail for a fast<br />
growing consumer brand.<br />
● Existing relationships with distributors and retailers.<br />
● Can negotiate really well with channel partners.<br />
● Strong interpersonal skills.<br />
● Someone who understands the supply chain for offline retail extremely well.</div>
