Job Summary

The HR Associate will play a crucial role in supporting various HR functions, including end-to-end recruitment, payroll processing, HR operations, compliance, and employee engagement. This position is essential for ensuring smooth HR processes that contribute to the overall efficiency and culture of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, screening candidates, conducting interviews, and facilitating hiring decisions.
  • Oversee payroll processing, ensuring accurate calculation and timely disbursement of employee salaries.
  • Support daily HR operations including employee records management, onboarding and offboarding processes, and benefits administration.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant labor laws and internal HR policies to maintain organizational integrity.
  • Promote and facilitate employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive workplace culture and improve employee satisfaction.
  • Assist in the implementation of HR projects and programs that enhance organizational efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 0-3 years of experience in Human Resources or related areas.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • Proficient in using HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with payroll software and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
  • Certification in Human Resources (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
  • Experience in employee engagement programs or initiatives.

Experience

  • Candidates should have 0-3 years of relevant experience in HR-related roles, with a preference for a stable career journey.

Environment

  • This role will be based out of Bangalore. The typical work setting may involve office work with potential opportunities for hybrid work arrangements.
