Job Description: Technical Lead Company: Bijliride About Bijliride Role: Technical Lead About the Role Key Responsibilities Lead technical strategy and execution for the Consumer App, ensuring a seamless, intuitive user experience while maintaining code quality and performance. • Oversee the redesign and UX revamp of the Consumer App to enhance user engagement and retention. • Scale and optimize the Admin App—a complex, multi-integration platform used by internal teams, technicians, admins, and vendors for critical business operations including vendor payments, fleet management, and vendor integrations. • Architect and implement solutions that support vendor payments, real-time tracking, and operational integrations. •Team Composition: 3 Full-Stack Developers 2 Backend Engineers 2 Frontend Engineers Lead and mentor a distributed team of 9 engineers: 3 full-stack developers, 2 backend engineers, 2 frontend engineers, and 1 UX designer . • Define coding standards, best practices, and architectural patterns for the entire technical organization. • Drive performance optimization, security hardening, and scalability across both applications. • Collaborate with product and business teams to translate requirements into technical roadmaps. • Own technical debt management and ensure sustainable, long-term system health. • Technical Stack & Expertise Required Backend: Node.js expertise with proven experience building scalable, production- grade APIs. • Frontend: React Native proficiency for cross-platform mobile application development. • Database: MongoDB experience with optimization and scaling knowledge. • Cloud Infrastructure: AWS expertise including compute, storage, databases, and DevOps practices. • Full-Stack Capability: Ability to make architectural decisions across the entire technology stack and contribute hands-on to critical modules. • Leadership: Experience leading technical teams, mentoring engineers, and fostering a high-performance culture. • Competencies and Skills Technical Depth: Strong understanding of scalable architectures, microservices patterns, and full-stack system design. • Hands-on Execution: Ability to code, review architecture, and guide implementation while maintaining high standards. • Team Leadership: Experience building, mentoring, and scaling engineering teams in startup environments. • Product Thinking: Ability to translate product vision into technical execution with clear roadmaps and milestones. • Problem-Solving: Excellent debugging, troubleshooting, and optimization skills. • Communication: Clear articulation of technical decisions and trade-offs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Ownership Mindset: Driven by results, accountability, and delivering business impact. • Startup Agility: Comfortable with rapid iteration, ambiguity, and wearing multiple hats in a fast-paced environment. • Current Technology Landscape1 UX Designer Applications: 1.
