Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer with deep expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS), serverless computing (Lambda), infrastructure as code (CDK & Terraform), and container orchestration via Kubernetes (EKS). The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure to support modern cloud-native applications.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement cloud-native solutions using AWS services including EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, CloudWatch, IAM, etc.
  • Develop and manage infrastructure as code using AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK) and Terraform.
  • Build and maintain scalable, production-ready Kubernetes clusters using Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS).
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deployments.
  • Implement security best practices and compliance in cloud environments.
  • Monitor and optimize system performance, availability, and cost-efficiency.
  • Collaborate with application developers to containerize workloads and deploy microservices.
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and perform root cause analysis.
  • Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and architecture decisions.

Qualifications

  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS core services (EC2, IAM, Lambda, S3, RDS, etc.)
  • Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and AWS CDK
  • In-depth knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes, preferably with EKS experience
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab, GitHub Actions, CodePipeline, Jenkins
  • Proficient in monitoring tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog
  • Strong understanding of networking, security groups, and IAM policies
  • Educational qualifications: A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is preferred.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with serverless architectures and related AWS services
  • Understanding of microservices architecture and related practices
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks and methodologies

Experience

  • 6+ years of relevant experience in Cloud Engineering and DevOps practices.
