Job Description
<div>The Retail Sales Head will be responsible for handling overall store operations, supervising staff<br />
to maximize sales, maintain exceptional levels of customer service, developing &amp; maintaining<br />
customer base by capitalizing on high-profile clientele and sales.<br />
Ability to manage multi-store, pan-India operations<br />
Implement and maintain retail operational policies and procedures to incorporate a sales<br />
plan, cost control, shrinkage management, reduction, and audit compliance<br />
Contributes to the expansion process and set up plans at the strategic and operational<br />
levels<br />
To develop, direct and measure the execution of strategic annual/long-term plans in<br />
order to meet and exceed sales and revenue commitments/goals. Drive financial<br />
performance &amp; aim to exceed targets.<br />
Increase sales to maximize profitability while reducing costs through well managed<br />
operational controls<br />
Drive sales and retail improvements through analysis and support.<br />
Propose measures to improve operational performance<br />
Keep abreast of market trends to determine the need for improvements in the store.<br />
Analyse sales and revenue reports and make forecasts.<br />
Advice to formulate pricing policies by reviewing merchandise activities, determining<br />
additional sales promotion, authorization stock clearance, and studying trends within the<br />
allocated budget.<br />
Market merchandise by studying advertising, sales promotions, display plans, analysing<br />
operating and financial statements for profitability ratios.<br />
Liaise with the purchase department to ensure range and stock levels are consistent with<br />
business requirements.</div>
<div>Desired Candidate Profile:<br />
6-7 years of retail management experience in a related industry<br />
Proven leadership capabilities with the ability to translate corporate objectives into store-<br />
level strategies.<br />
Exceptional customer focus and client relationship management abilities<br />
Very strong people management skills<br />
Knowledge of retail math and cash management techniques<br />
Exceptional communication skills, verbal and written in English (other relevant languages<br />
are highly beneficial - will depend on region)<br />
Excellent organizational skills, Flexibility and solution orientation, with the ability to<br />
reprioritize tasks as necessary<br />
High levels of energy, optimism and self-motivation<br />
Ability to perform well under pressure</div>
