Deputy General Manager- Brand Dot & Key Skincare Kolkata, West Bengal, India (On-site) Job Title: Deputy General Manager- Brand Company: Dot & Key Skincare Location: Mumbai - 3 Months in Kolkata for Training Industry: FMCG Cosmetics (Preferred Experience) Responsibilities: ● Brand Positioning & Consumer Insights: Analyse brand positioning in the market, leveraging consumer insights to guide strategies that elevate the brand’s presence and growth. ● Vision & Mission: Shape and communicate the brand’s vision and mission to ensure consistency across all initiatives and teams. ● Strategic Planning & Execution: Translate brand elements into actionable plans and go-to-market strategies that drive performance and growth. ● Team Leadership: Lead a team of marketing professionals working on brand initiatives, providing mentorship, support, and alignment to meet brand goals. ● Creative Development: Oversee creative development, ensuring campaigns and content effectively engage the target audience and inspire action. ● Market Analysis: Establish performance specifications, cost and pricing parameters, and market applications, while estimating sales potential. ● Campaign Performance: Measure, analyse, and report the performance of all marketing campaigns, assessing ROI and KPIs to ensure effectiveness and alignment with business objectives. ● Market Research: Monitor market trends, consumer behaviour, and competitors’ activities to identify opportunities and threats in the marketplace. ● Advertising & Marketing: Oversee the execution of ongoing marketing and advertising activities, ensuring alignment with brand objectives. ● Product Distribution: Monitor product distribution channels and consumer reactions to ensure brand consistency and product performance in the market. ● Growth Strategy: Develop and implement innovative strategies to drive brand growth, expanding market share and consumer loyalty. ● Omnichannel Initiatives: Lead the ideation and execution of omnichannel strategies to create compelling customer propositions, aligned with category ambition and brand direction. ● Cross-functional Alignment: Align internal teams and stakeholders around the brand’s strategic direction, ensuring unified tactics and consistent messaging across all touchpoints. ● Proven Brand Expertise: Proven experience in developing and executing brand and marketing strategies, with a track record of success in FMCG, particularly within the cosmetics industry. ● Campaign Development: Demonstrated ability to identify target audiences and create effective, results-driven campaigns that resonate with consumers. ● Marketing Mix Mastery: Strong understanding of the full marketing mix, including digital, social media, content, and traditional advertising channels. ● Analytical & Creative: Strong analytical skills paired with creative problem-solving abilities to drive innovative campaigns. ● Business Analyst: Expertise in data analysis and utilizing metrics to inform decisions, ensuring marketing activities are aligned with business goals and P&L. ● Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present insights and strategies to executives and key stakeholders. ● Trend Awareness: Up-to-date with the latest marketing trends, tools, and best practices to drive brand innovation.
