Business Intelligence/Data Warehousing Developer

Job Summary

The Business Intelligence/Data Warehousing Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data warehouse and business intelligence solutions using leading technologies such as Snowflake, Informatica PowerCenter, AWS S3, and more. This role will enable data-driven decision-making by building robust data pipelines and supporting analytics across the enterprise. The position is contractual, with openings in Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, and Noida.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter/IDMC and Snowflake for data warehousing solutions.
• Develop and optimize complex SQL and PL/SQL queries to ensure efficient data retrieval and transformation.
• Integrate and manage data from various RDBMS platforms such as Oracle and SQL Server.
• Utilize AWS S3 cloud storage services for data ingestion, storage, and movement.
• Apply dimensional data modeling techniques to design and implement scalable data warehouse architectures.
• Support the development of basic reports and dashboards using PowerBI or similar BI tools.
• Perform basic Linux shell scripting for automation and workflow orchestration.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure data solutions meet business requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of overall experience in business intelligence and data warehousing roles.
• 3-4 years of hands-on experience with Snowflake database.
• Strong expertise in SQL and PL/SQL, including advanced functionality within Snowflake.
• 2-3 years of experience with Informatica PowerCenter and/or Informatica Data Management Cloud (IDMC).
• Familiarity with other relational database management systems (RDBMS) such as Oracle and SQL Server.
• Solid understanding of dimensional data modeling techniques and data warehousing methodologies.
• Experience with cloud storage services, especially AWS S3.
• Basic exposure to reporting and dashboard tools like PowerBI.
• Basic experience with Linux environments and shell scripting.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to Microsoft Fabric.
• Experience with additional cloud data platforms.
• Familiarity with other BI tools and advanced visualization techniques.
• Experience working in a contractual or consulting environment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Experience
