Job Summary

The Video Editor will be responsible for assembling recorded footage into a finished project that matches the director's vision and is suitable for broadcasting. The editor will work closely with the production team to bring ideas to life, ensuring a high-quality final product.

Responsibilities

• Edit video footage to create compelling and engaging media content.
• Collaborate with the production team to understand project requirements and creative direction.
• Implement feedback from directors or producers to refine video projects.
• Ensure that all materials are edited and delivered on time.
• Maintain organized files for easy access and archiving of projects.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic understanding of color correction, visual effects, and audio balancing.
• Knowledge of video formats and compression standards is preferred.
• A degree in Film Production, Media Studies, or a related field is desirable.

Experience
