Job Description
Role Overview: The Marketplace Lead will be responsible for the full marketplace P&L and for managing and growing the business for Moxie across marketplaces. This includes horizontal e-commerce marketplaces, beauty e-commerce platforms, and quick commerce platforms.
Responsibilities:
•
Own the P&L and lead growth for marketplaces
•
Lead the marketplace team across KAMs, growth, ads and operations
•
Develop and execute growth strategies specific to each marketplace to drive traffic, sales and AOV – including ad campaigns, promotions, special offers, and organic growth hacks
•
Optimize assortment, pricing, content and quality of listings for maximum organic visibility and conversion
•
Monitor marketplace performance, analyze key metrics, and prepare reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs)
•
Regularly analyze sales data, customer feedback, competitor data and market trends to make data-driven decisions and recommendations
•
Hold relationships with key counterparts at marketplaces
•
Work with the operations team on demand forecasting and inventory planning to ensure optimal inventory levels are maintained at all times
Qualifications:
•
5-7 years of experience in e-commerce management, with a focus on online marketplaces like Amazon and Nykaa
•
Knowledge of e-commerce platforms, tools, and analytics
•
Ability to analyse sales data and trends
•
Strong communication and negotiation skills
•
Proficient in e-commerce marketing and growth strategies
•
Bachelor's degree from a reputed institution
•
Familiarity with FMCG category (preferred)
