Job Summary

The FE Salesforce Commerce Cloud Developer plays a critical role in building and optimizing e-commerce solutions within the Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform. This position requires a strong understanding of Vanilla JavaScript and SCSS, with a focus on creating reusable components and delivering high-quality user interfaces that meet client specifications.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and implement Salesforce Commerce Cloud applications with a focus on front-end development.
• Write and maintain clear, efficient, and well-documented Vanilla JavaScript code.
• Utilize SCSS for styling and ensure adherence to best practices, including BEM naming methodology.
• Build reusable Page Designer components to enhance the flexibility and functionality of e-commerce pages.
• Manage and configure content slots and content assets within the platform.
• Provide feedback and updates on project progress, addressing potential issues proactively and suggesting solutions to meet client needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1.5 years of work experience specifically in Salesforce Commerce Cloud.
• Proficient in Vanilla JavaScript and capable of understanding, reading, and writing clear code.
• Excellent knowledge and experience with SCSS for CSS pre-processing.
• Familiarity with BEM naming methodology for CSS structure.
• Understanding of the client’s base Salesforce Commerce Cloud cartridge and how it applies to development tasks.
• Ability to construct reusable and efficient Page Designer components.
• Clear understanding of using and managing content slots and content assets.
• Familiarity with Optimizely or Sitespect for A/B testing is a bonus, with a willingness to learn if not already known.

Preferred Skills

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.

Experience

• 5 to 12 years of overall experience in software development, with at least 1.5 years focused on Salesforce Commerce Cloud.

Environment

• Work location options are Pune, Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, or Hyderabad, with a preference for Pune. The work arrangement will be determined based on company policy.
