You will collaborate closely with various teams including Product, Development, QA, SEO, Analytics, Content, and Stakeholders to translate complex business objectives into intuitive, accessible, and scalable user experiences. This role demands visionary leadership of the UX/UI practice, with an emphasis on establishing design governance and ensuring fidelity in implementation.

Responsibilities

  • Own the consolidated UX vision, defining design principles, patterns, and success metrics that align with organizational goals.
  • Architect and govern a production-ready design system comprising over 100 responsive components, 5 enterprise-grade templates, and micro-interaction specifications, ensuring compliance with WCAG 2.1 AA standards.
  • Lead a distributed UX/UI team by mentoring designers, conducting design reviews, and establishing best-practice playbooks.
  • Serve as the primary liaison to Executive and Legal stakeholders; facilitate design workshops and steer consensus during design critiques.
  • Collaborate with AEM Architects and Front-End leads to confirm component feasibility and monitor implementation quality.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to design accuracy, component reuse rate, and user satisfaction, embedding continuous improvement cycles via regular audits.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Industrial Design, Interaction Design, or equivalent.
  • 7+ years of proven leadership in UI/UX design for large enterprises or agency environments, preferably with experience in Adobe Experience Manager or other headless Content Management Systems (CMS).
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Cloud, and prototyping tools like Principle, Protopie, and Framer.
  • Deep understanding of component-driven design methodologies, including atomic design, design tokens, and responsive breakpoints.
  • Strong knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA), with hands-on experience in conducting and remediating accessibility audits.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, comfortable conducting briefings, workshops, and design critiques.
  • Familiarity with AEM front-end paradigms (HTL, Sling, ClientLibs) and skills in translating Figma specs into developer-ready assets.
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum environments, collaborating with Product, Development, and QA teams.

Preferred Skills

  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to define and track UX KPIs, analyze user metrics, and iterate designs based on both quantitative and qualitative feedback.
