Job Summary
The Implementation Lead for the Impacts Systems Implementation department will oversee all interfacing activities related to customer applications during airline migrations to Altéa and subsequent stand-alone implementations. The successful candidate will serve as the primary entry point for a set of airline customers, coordinating and supporting the implementation process using various API technologies, including eRetail XML, WBS, Digital API, and NDC.
Responsibilities
- Implementation Activities: Lead technical and functional support during interface implementations.
- Requirement Analysis: Analyze integration requirements for customers and provide tailored Amadeus interfacing solutions.
- Integration Architecture: Review and validate the overall integration architecture for customers.
- Documentation: Ensure customers have current access to Amadeus documentation.
- Testing Support: Provide support during customer integration and acceptance tests.
- Application Certification: Organize and support application certification processes.
- Project Management: Monitor the progress of eRetail XML, WBS, Digital API, and NDC implementations, and prioritize tasks as needed.
- Workshops: Organize and chair workshops on architecture, data mapping, etc., with customers.
- Knowledge Sharing: Facilitate knowledge transfer through documentation and internal walkthrough sessions.
Qualifications
- Education: Engineering degree or university degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience in IT.
- Experience: 4-7 years in relevant fields, especially in the airline domain.
- Languages: Fluent in English.
- Technical Skills:
- Knowledge of airline e-commerce business, reservations, ticketing, inventory, and Departure Control Systems (DCS).
- Familiarity with Amadeus Airline IT products and services.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills for data compilation and reporting.
- Proficient in project management, change management, and tracking skills.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication skills and effective collaboration in multicultural environments.
- Customer Focus: Customer-centric approach and service orientation.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with WBS, XML, JSON, SOAP, and HTTP technologies.
- Understanding of key concepts in airline e-commerce web applications development.
- IATA certifications (optional).
Experience
A minimum of 4 to 7 years of relevant experience in the airline domain and technical implementations.
Environment
Travel requirement of 5-10% to the APAC region.
