Job Summary

The SCM Functional Consultant will leverage extensive experience and skills in Oracle R12.2 EBS, particularly in the manufacturing sector, to support and enhance the client's supply chain management processes. This role is pivotal in interfacing with key stakeholders and ensuring the smooth operation of Procure to Pay (P2P) and Order Management (OM) modules while preparing for periodic closing activities at the customer plant.

Responsibilities

• Provide functional expertise in Oracle R12.2 EBS, focusing on Order Management and Procure to Pay modules.
• Collaborate with the technical team to define priorities, write functional specifications, and oversee development functions.
• Conduct regular training sessions for end-users and communicate the status of enhancements effectively.
• Report activities to management and work closely with functional support teams across different zones to facilitate information sharing.
• Implement best practices for promoting code to different instances while ensuring compliance with India Localization and Goods and Services Tax (GST) requirements.
• Participate in the full project life cycle, applying knowledge of Oracle Implementation methodologies, including AIM and OUM.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• At least 8 years of relevant experience as an SCM Functional Consultant.
• Proven expertise in Oracle R12.2 EBS, with strong knowledge of manufacturing practices.
• In-depth understanding of Procure to Pay and Order Management modules.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL.
• Familiarity with tools such as SQL Developer, Toad, Putty, and version control systems.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
• Strong team player with a commitment to team success and collaboration.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in India Localization and GST configurations.
• Familiarity with functional testing and training methodologies.

Experience

• Minimum of 8 years in a relevant position, with extensive experience in Oracle EBS and supply chain management.

Environment

• This position is remote, requiring occasional travel (5-7 days a month) to Halol, Gujarat for period-end closures. Candidates must reside in Pune or Mumbai to facilitate this travel requirement.
