Brand Manager - All Things Baby

Company Overview

A one-stop destination in the Mother & Baby category, specializing in exclusive international brand distribution across India through Direct-to-Consumer (D2C), Business-to-Business (B2B), marketplaces, and Quick Commerce channels.

Job Summary

The Brand Manager will function as the business owner for a portfolio of 5-6 exclusive international brands, driving growth through commercial strategy, inventory planning, forecasting, pricing, and cross-channel expansion. This role requires strong experience in managing brands as a business rather than solely from a marketing perspective.

Responsibilities

  • Business Ownership

    • Own assigned brands as independent businesses.
    • Drive revenue and long-term growth strategy.
    • Identify opportunities across channels and categories.
  • Inventory & Forecasting

    • Manage current inventory and stock health.
    • Forecast demand accurately.
    • Create Purchase Orders (POs).
    • Ensure best-selling SKUs never go out of stock.
    • Monitor inventory movement across channels.
  • Commercial Planning

    • Prepare discounting sheets.
    • Support pricing and promotional planning.
    • Analyze business performance using data.
  • Brand Growth

    • Scale brands across Pan India.
    • Coordinate with international partners (UK, Vietnam, etc.).
    • Develop strategic growth plans beyond marketing execution.
  • Stakeholder Management

    • Be the primary point of contact between international brands and internal teams.
    • Collaborate with Buying, Marketing, Operations, Finance, and Sales teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 4-5 years of experience in Brand Management or Category Management.
  • Strong experience managing brands as a business.
  • Proven ability to analyze data and business performance.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Familiarity with inventory management and forecasting processes.
  • Knowledge of the Mother & Baby product market is a plus.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in working with international partners.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software.
  • Strong analytical skills and familiarity with data analysis tools.

Experience

  • 4-5 years of relevant experience in Brand Management or Category Management with a focus on business growth and strategy.

Environment

  • Location: Lower Parel, Kamala Mills, Mumbai.
  • Working Hours: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM.
  • This position is primarily office-based.
