Brand Manager - All Things Baby
Company Overview
A one-stop destination in the Mother & Baby category, specializing in exclusive international brand distribution across India through Direct-to-Consumer (D2C), Business-to-Business (B2B), marketplaces, and Quick Commerce channels.
Job Summary
The Brand Manager will function as the business owner for a portfolio of 5-6 exclusive international brands, driving growth through commercial strategy, inventory planning, forecasting, pricing, and cross-channel expansion. This role requires strong experience in managing brands as a business rather than solely from a marketing perspective.
Responsibilities

Business Ownership
- Own assigned brands as independent businesses.
- Drive revenue and long-term growth strategy.
- Identify opportunities across channels and categories.

Inventory & Forecasting
- Manage current inventory and stock health.
- Forecast demand accurately.
- Create Purchase Orders (POs).
- Ensure best-selling SKUs never go out of stock.
- Monitor inventory movement across channels.

Commercial Planning
- Prepare discounting sheets.
- Support pricing and promotional planning.
- Analyze business performance using data.

Brand Growth
- Scale brands across Pan India.
- Coordinate with international partners (UK, Vietnam, etc.).
- Develop strategic growth plans beyond marketing execution.

Stakeholder Management
- Be the primary point of contact between international brands and internal teams.
- Collaborate with Buying, Marketing, Operations, Finance, and Sales teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 4-5 years of experience in Brand Management or Category Management.
- Strong experience managing brands as a business.
- Proven ability to analyze data and business performance.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and strategic thinking abilities.
- Familiarity with inventory management and forecasting processes.
- Knowledge of the Mother & Baby product market is a plus.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in working with international partners.
- Proficiency in inventory management software.
- Strong analytical skills and familiarity with data analysis tools.
Experience
- 4-5 years of relevant experience in Brand Management or Category Management with a focus on business growth and strategy.
Environment
- Location: Lower Parel, Kamala Mills, Mumbai.
- Working Hours: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM.
- This position is primarily office-based.
