Job Summary
The Senior Associate — Finance will be responsible for managing day-to-day finance operations, ensuring statutory compliance, overseeing accounting processes, and preparing financial reports. This role is critical in maintaining financial discipline, accuracy, and efficiency within a fast-paced fintech environment, contributing to the company's growth and operational excellence.
Responsibilities

Accounting & Bookkeeping
- Manage daily accounting activities, including bookkeeping and financial analysis.
- Oversee end-to-end accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), banking, accruals, revenue, and cost accounting.
- Handle vendor payments, customer invoicing, collections, and reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate AP/AR records and aging reports.

Compliance & Statutory Filings
- Handle GST filings, TDS/TCS compliance, and advance tax payments.
- Manage payroll compliance requirements.
- Ensure adherence to Ind AS / IGAAP standards.

Financial Reporting
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Prepare Profit & Loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
- Maintain books aligned with applicable accounting standards.

Systems & Automation
- Manage finance tools such as Zoho Books, Tally, QuickBooks, or similar systems.
- Drive automation initiatives to streamline finance processes.
- Enhance financial data workflows for efficiency.

Audit & Controls
- Support statutory, internal, and tax audits.
- Strengthen internal controls to mitigate risks.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
Qualifications
- Educational Qualifications: MBA (Finance) or Semi-qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
- Experience: 5+ years in accounting and finance operations.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory filings.
- Experience with financial reporting and bookkeeping.
- Hands-on experience with accounting tools like Zoho, Tally, or QuickBooks.
- Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets.
- Understanding of financial modeling (preferred).
