Job Description: Mutual Fund Operations Executive Position Overview: The Mutual Fund Operations Executive plays a crucial role in the efficient functioning of the boutique wealth firm’s mutual fund operations. They are responsible for handling various operational tasks related to mutual fund transactions, client servicing, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities: 1. Mutual Fund Transactions: o Process mutual fund transactions including purchases, redemptions, switches, and systematic transactions accurately and in a timely manner. o Monitor transaction status and ensure all documentation is complete and compliant with regulatory standards. 2. Client Servicing: o Provide excellent service to clients regarding their mutual fund investments. o Respond promptly and accurately to client queries related to mutual fund transactions, account statements, NAVs (Net Asset Values), etc. o Assist clients with account opening, KYC (Know Your Customer) documentation, and other administrative tasks related to mutual fund investments. 3. Operational Support: o Maintain accurate records of mutual fund transactions and client interactions using the firm’s CRM (Customer Relationship Management) or other relevant systems. o Coordinate with fund houses, registrars, and other external parties to resolve operational issues and discrepancies. 4. Compliance and Regulatory Requirements: o Ensure adherence to SEBI regulations and other relevant guidelines governing mutual fund operations. o Stay updated on regulatory changes and implement necessary operational adjustments to maintain compliance. 5. Reporting: o Generate and prepare regular reports on mutual fund transactions, client portfolios, and operational metrics as required by management. o Provide insights and analysis based on operational data to support decision making processes. 6. Team Collaboration: o Collaborate effectively with other teams within the wealth management firm such as mutual fund distributors, compliance officers, and administrative staff. o Participate in team meetings and contribute to the overall operational efficiency and client service standards of the firm. Skills and Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in mutual fund operations or financial services operations. • Sound knowledge of mutual fund products, industry practices, and regulatory requirements (SEBI guidelines). • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial transactions and client documentation. • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to interact professionally with clients and external stakeholders. • Proficiency in using MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
