Associate Manager Finance Business Partner
Job Summary
The Associate Manager Finance Business Partner is responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate completion of all month-end close activities in alignment with the account and DXC reporting calendar. This role plays a critical part in providing financial insights, managing risks, and supporting financial planning and analysis to drive business performance.
Responsibilities
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of all month-end close activities in line with the account and DXC reporting calendar.
- Provide financial reports that accurately reflect the financial performance of the account.
- Review Contracts/Master Service Agreements focusing on financial and pricing clauses, including COLA, price changes, and volume commitments.
- Identify and analyze risks associated with contract clauses, providing logical solutions and alternative positions for effective closure.
- Lead all planning cycles (Strategic Planning, Operating plans, forecasts) with a thorough understanding of business dynamics in collaboration with account-level stakeholders.
- Ensure a complete understanding of costs at the account level, including labor and non-labor charges.
- Drive forecast accuracy through financial modeling and analysis, providing decision-making information related to risks and operations.
- Monitor unbilled, deferred, and revenue-at-risk activities, preparing risk reports and tracking items until closure.
- Support optimization of cash collection through timely billing at the account level.
- Collaborate with the CP and Finance Manager to drive margin improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Degree in Finance (BCom, MCom, CA, ICWA, or MBA Finance).
- Post-qualification experience of approximately 8+ years in finance-related roles.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, forecasting, and risk management.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building relationships with stakeholders.
- Ability to manage compliance with Revenue Recognition principles and SOX controls.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in leading financial planning cycles and managing complex financial projects.
- Familiarity with financial systems and tools used for reporting and analysis.
- Strong analytical skills to translate financial and non-financial KPIs into actionable insights.
Experience
- Minimum of 8+ years of relevant experience in finance, with a focus on financial planning, analysis, and compliance.
