Job Purpose
We are seeking a Marketing Manager to lead our branding and marketing efforts in our Private Brands business. The person
will be accountable for leading the marketing effort on Clicktech Retail’s Private Brands, providing guidance, support, and
vision, and ensuring delivery on marketing initiatives that align with the company's and the brands’ goals. The primary scope
of this role would be to help build our Private Brands across all channels (online – marketplaces, D2C and offline). The role
covers strategic, analytical & executional support to help the brand/s achieve their business targets. The ideal candidate will
be responsible for working with cross functional teams to develop and execute our brand strategy, creating engaging
marketing campaigns, and driving customer acquisition and retention.
Roles & Responsibilities
1. Develop and implement a marketing roadmap and strategy to achieve the business objectives of our Private Brands,
including but not limited to: user acquisition and retention, revenue growth, and brand awareness.
2. End-to-end management of short-term, mid-term and long-term marketing plans basis the long-term objectives of the
brand.
3. Market & Consumer Understanding: Analysing the evolving competitive landscape, industry trends & brand positioning;
Thorough understanding of the consumer - triggers, barriers, etc.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sourcing, vendor management, and in-stock management, to ensure
alignment on the marketing strategy and execution.
5. Work with agencies and service provider teams across acquisition, retention, branding & design, content & cataloguing,
packaging etc. to create a holistic marketing strategy.
6. New Products Launch: Designing and executing new product launch playbook for success across different channels -
D2C, marketplaces, offline.
7. Communication Development: Ownership of messaging across all consumer touchpoints - social media, performance
marketing, influencer collaborations, brand campaigns, etc.
8. Create and manage budgets to support marketing initiatives and ensure the best return on investment.
9. Oversee the development and execution of advertising campaigns across multiple channels (online marketplaces, D2C
and offline), including social media, display, and search.
10. Develop and manage partnerships with influencers, media outlets, and other relevant organisations to expand the
brand's reach and reputation.
11. Analyse and report on the effectiveness of marketing initiatives, providing insights and recommendations for
improvement.
12. Work with the business teams to manage and deliver the P&L of business.
13. Define the annual operating plan and work with various stakeholders to implement it
Job specification
Education
• MBA in marketing
Experience & Other Requirements
▪ Minimum of 4 years of experience in brand & marketing, preferably in the Home & Living industry.
▪ Prior experience in managing D2C channel, experience in e-commerce marketplaces is mandatory.
▪ Prior experience of dealing with marketing agencies will be preferred.
▪ Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, including social media, influencer, content marketing.
▪ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple
projects simultaneously.
