Presales and Proposal Lead

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Presales and Proposal Lead with a strong background in researching and hunting for Requests for Proposals (RFPs) within the government sector, including local bodies, state, and federal opportunities. This role is crucial for managing and coordinating end-to-end complex RFPs, Requests for Information (RFIs), and Requests for Quotations (RFQs) from identification through to submission. The ideal candidate will excel in market research, presales activities, crafting winning proposals, and coordinating cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

  • Actively research and identify government renewals, RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs that align with the organization’s strategic goals.
  • Oversee the entire proposal lifecycle, from initial analysis and strategy development to submission, ensuring compliance with all guidelines and deadlines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, providing direction and fostering effective communication to gather necessary content and insights for proposals.
  • Analyze RFP requirements and create customized, persuasive proposals that effectively address the needs of the evaluators.
  • Review and refine proposal content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and adherence to quality standards.
  • Track proposal outcomes and conduct post-submission analysis to identify successes and areas for improvement, contributing to the continuous enhancement of proposal strategies.
  • Articulate complex information clearly and persuasively in both written and verbal forms, ensuring stakeholder engagement at all levels.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Science, Arts, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in proposal management, specifically in the government sector.
  • Demonstrated success in winning contracts through effective proposal submissions.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with government contracting processes and compliance requirements.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with proposal management tools or platforms.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of public sector procurement trends and best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Experience
