Job Summary
We are looking for a Finance Manager to lead month-end closure, financial reporting, and accounting operations with a strong focus on US GAAP reporting standards. The Finance Manager will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of books, timely closures, reconciliations, audit readiness, and strong financial controls while partnering closely with business and leadership teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes as per US GAAP.
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, schedules, and Management Information System (MIS) reports.
- Review journal entries, accruals, provisions, revenue recognition, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Drive closure timelines with strong control over General Ledger and reporting processes.
- Manage statutory audits, internal audits, and coordinate with external consultants and auditors.
- Oversee GST, TDS, and direct tax compliances along with reconciliations and filings.
- Handle accounting reconciliations including bank, vendor, customer, intercompany, and General Ledger accounts.
- Support implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), maker-checker controls, and process automation initiatives.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze financial performance, variances, and business risks.
- Ensure ERP hygiene, data accuracy, and reporting consistency across finance systems.
Qualifications
- Education: Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 2–3 years of post-qualification experience.
- Strong experience in financial close and reporting under US GAAP.
- Sound understanding of accounting standards, audit processes, and financial controls.
- Experience in handling audits, reconciliations, and month-end reporting processes.
- Strong working knowledge of ERP/accounting systems and advanced Excel.
- Ability to manage timelines in a fast-paced and high-growth environment.
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to multinational/shared services/global finance environments.
- Familiarity with Power BI/Tableau and automation tools is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical mindset with good stakeholder management and communication skills.
Experience
2–3 years of post-qualification experience as a Chartered Accountant.
