Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Data Modeler to support our Modern Data Platform initiative. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in data modeling and data engineering, with exposure to enterprise data systems including Microsoft Fabric, SAP S/4HANA, SAP BPC, and SAP BW. This role also offers potential for transition into a Solution Architect position for candidates with broader architectural experience in the listed technologies.
 
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement conceptual, logical, and physical data models to support analytics and reporting use cases on a modern data platform.
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable and efficient data models.
Integrate and model data from SAP systems (S/4HANA, BPC, BW) into modern data architectures (Microsoft Fabric).
Support data engineering teams in building data pipelines aligned to the data model.
Ensure data models support data governance, quality, and performance requirements.
Provide guidance on best practices for data modeling, metadata management, and documentation.
 
Required Skills and Experience:
Proven experience in data modeling and data engineering in modern data platform environments.
Strong understanding of Microsoft Fabric or similar data platform technologies.
Experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP BPC, and SAP BW integration and data extraction.
Familiarity with data architecture principles, master data management, and metadata standards.
Ability to communicate technical concepts to business users and stakeholders
